Pediatrics Plus Offer New Moms Time and Place to Pamper
Pediatrics Plus* PC and North Haven Therapeutic Massage & Spa Care are pleased to announce that they are joining forces to offer their new moms a time and place to pamper themselves…at a discount! Located at 114 Washington Avenue since 1996, North Haven Therapeutic Massage & Spa Care's well-trained, experienced experts offer the latest techniques on a variety of massage therapies, facial and body treatments to promote your health and well-being.
Through this collaborative effort, Pediatrics Plus is pleased to be able to offer to their new moms a $10 discount card to be used for one 1-hour massage or Signature facial after coming home with baby. In addition, they will periodically have a raffle drawing with a chance for them to win a 1/2 hour massage gift card (a $45 value) as well as microwaveable hot packs and other comfort items donated by North Haven Therapeutic Massage & Spa Care.
"We are also scheduling an Infant Massage class taught by a certified instructor designed to enhance the loving communication and bonding between parent/primary care giver and baby," Joanne Law, Practice Administrator, explained. "The babies' benefits include enhancing sleep patterns and relieving gassiness." This class will be offered to babies 2-weeks through the pre-crawling developmental state (average 7 months of age). Pediatrics Plus also has a certified lactation counselor on staff and a have a nursing support group to assist new mom's with the joys and challenges of nursing.
