Helpful Spring Tips from Pediatrics Plus+

Physicals: Please plan to book your school, sports and camp physicals early to get the most convenient time for your schedule.

Forms: At this time of year we become inundated with forms for school, camps and sports. Please remember we request a time period of 3 - 5 days to complete these forms. Please plan accordingly.

Springtime, Playtime
Here are some helpful tips for being outdoors this spring!

  • Wear sunscreen when outside, even if it is a quick trip to the playground

  • Make sure bike helmets and other safety gear still fit appropriately and remember to wear them when riding bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc.

  • Wear reflective clothing if biking at night and/or at dusk

  • Wear long sleeves and pants, avoid scented lotions or soaps, and use insect repellent to prevent insect bites

  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially on hot days

BABY SIGN CLASSES
Simple Signing in the Early Years

Infants to age 3, plus a caregiver

Research indicates that infants and toddlers can communicate before they are ready or able to speak. Through the reading of select children's books, baby sign will be used to demonstrate how to recognize and apply "learning opportunities" for successful use in everyday life.

Please call the office to sign up 203 239-4627.
